Spring League Invades Wintersport

The Rams skated to a needed 4-3 victory over Seravalli at Wintersport on Sunday afternoon, and then the fun began. The Rams, embracing their identity as a 96 beer 4th period team began watching the second half of the A-League doubleheader. The undefeated Zebras were facing off against the Penguins. It was mentioned in passing that we might want to the Zebras to win. But a couple quick goals by the Pens and the reaction of the Zebras 6-0 goalie changed the complexion of the evening.

Gretzky’s Daughter Triumphantly Returns to Twitter

Last week the perverted were titillated by photos of Wayne Gretzky’s 23-year old daughter Paulina. #99′s daughter had been posting sexy pics to her Twitter page but they were all removed, but not before every Canadian news site had a field day with them.

Luckily, as the above photo shows, she’s back showing some skin. I for one, look forward to her sex tape and/or reality show.

How Do You Lose a Shutout?

History was made last night in Calgary. Carolina goaltender Mike Murphy was credited with the loss despite not allowing a goal. Murphy came in after Cam Ward surrendered his 6th goal of the evening and the Hurricanes trailing by 3. The Canes immediately scored and Murphy, making his NHL debut stopped the only two shots he faced before pulled for an extra attacker. Jarome Iginla scored an empty netter to make it 7-4. Then Carolina scored two more making the game winning goal Iginla’s empty-netter. And with the empty netter as the decider, Murphy was on the hook for the loss.

Welcome to the league rookie.
