Dorney Out As Color Man
Dornhoefer Named Flyers Ambassador of Hockey
After 12 seasons as a color analyst for the Philadelphia Flyers, Gary Dornhoefer is retiring from broadcasting to become a Flyers Ambassador of Hockey. Dorhoefer will join former Flyers Bob “The Hound” Kelly and Bernie Parent as a community representative for the organization. Periodically, Dornhoefer will appear as a studio analyst for Comcast SportsNet.
UPDATE: Not only is Dorney gone from the booth, but so is Steve Coates. Keith Jones is in and Jim Jackson remains the play-by-play guy.
