The pressure is on, but will Stars be?
The Stars weren't themselves in Game 1. They didn't play the game they typically play. They didn't react to the game Colorado played. They looked tight. They were. It's called pressure.
When the Avalanche finished the regular season at Edmonton, and the Oilers sat out seven regulars, winger Ryan Smyth cited what his "old friend, Joe Sakic" told him when they played together on Canadian national teams in the World Cup and Olympics: "Rest is a weapon."
Test would be no surprise
Jose Theodore and the Colorado Avalanche probably will get a better idea tonight as to how far he has come since making his debut with the team two weeks ago.
