Pens Reckoning Time is Coming

Penguins stay in Pittsburgh looking iffy

NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly was asked about the Penguins' chances of getting that arena built - it's tied to a Capri's slots license - and he admitted there was concern.
"It's a difficult issue right now," Daly said Friday during an International Ice Hockey Federation news conference with reporters from around the globe. "There is no new news on it. The time for the Penguins to get financing for a new arena is very short."
The state Gaming Control Board will hold its public hearing April 18 and 19 in Pittsburgh. A lot of Penguins supporters are expected to speak on behalf of Isle of Capri.

The Best of U.S.

121 Americans dot NHL teams, and a few of them are among the best ever to hail from the States. With a growing number making their mark in the world's best league, we offer a list of the top U.S.-born players to suit up in the NHL.

I think there are some omissions on this list not to mention the ordering. What do you think?

This guy is only looking at points because there is no way Brian Leetch should not be ahead of Chris Chelios. Also, Madano behind Mullen?

Yeah Fiyah!

You're right on about Mark Howe. He gets no respect. It pisses me off.
And how about a shout out to Bobby Carpenter? First American to score 50 goals. Damn, that would have been a good trivia question.
