Wissahickon Spring League

Wissahickon Spring League will start the week of Monday March 27th. We are going to do a draft among the guys we know (Penguins, Rams & Friends). Hopefully we can get three or four teams out of our group. We are then hoping that WSC suits up a team and maybe another mens league team (Stealth?). A six team league would be great. We will have ice on Tuesday nights again, with the added possibility of Mondays or Sunday nights. I will also run a skate on Thursday nights. (8:45 or 9:00 start). The cost will basically be around $170-$180 for the nine week league including the tournament on Memorial day weekend. Spread the word, we will need players.

I agree with Kratzer, we need a podium to make it official. I can't wait to be done with Winterpit and look forward to the WSC Spring League (as long as that one official does not ref the games). Poon Poon Reddah.

Put the word out. I think that we should aim for 4 teams of drafted players and leave the other two spots for organized teams. 4 teams would mean that we would need approx 50-55 players in our draft pool. If all of the Penguins and Rams played that would be about 30 players. Add to that our "friends" and we probably have a solid group of about 40 guys. So we will need an additional 10-15 skaters. What about the team at Aston etc?
