Summing Up Nashville
Shootouts are definitely a skills competition and a fun thing to watch. But they aren't a great way to achieve a winner. The rink is right downtown on their main drag, Broadway. So after the game everyone walks out of the arena and into the many bars and restaurants along the strip. Speaking of strips my hotel was just across the street from Deja Vu, whose slogan, "100s of beautiful girls and 3 ugly ones" lived up to their slogan. Unfortunately all three were dancing in the row. I also saw some dude get his ass beat by three wood ducks. He seemed to survive the head stomping OK, but I think the last punt he took to the face is going to require some reconstructive surgery.
All in all, good times, good times indeed. And I wasn't really subjected to any country music.
