USA Wins Under 18 World Championships
Remember the name Philip Kessel. Not eligible until the 2006 draft, the American forward is already making his mark on American hockey. Kessel won the Best Forward award leading the USA to its second under 18 Championship in four years. Kessel net 16 points in six games to lead all scorers at the championship.
For those Lagerheads lucky enough to be watching the game live Sunday morning, good news that Canadian forward Colton Yellowhorn was not seriously injured when he went into the boards head first. He suffered a bruised neck and is back with his teammates.
