According to the stereotype, Russian hockey players are all soft. Unwilling to stand up for themselves. Lacking in toughness. It’s not true, and if this video is any indication, the next generation of Russian hockey players should do away with the stereotype for good. These 10-year-olds don’t take no guff.
Put together by Russian site NK-TV (via Reddit), what follows is a compilation of the mayhem between two teams of 10-year-olds from Moscow and Novokuznetsk. The youth teams met on Sunday, Nov. 25, with the club from Moscow (the Polar Bears) earning a 3-o win when the game was called early, due to all the fighting:
