John LeClair Makes US Hockey Hall

Big time congratulations are in order for John LeClair who yesterday was inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame.
Among the highlights for the big winger from Vermont:

  • 1993 Stanley Cup Winner
  • 1996 World Cup of Hockey Winner (6 goals in 7 games)
  • First American to score three consecutive seasons of 50 or more goals
  • 406 career goals (8th best for a US born player)
  • Five-time first or second team NHL All-Star (only Flyer honored that many times)
