Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that Predators goaltender Tomas Vokoun has been diagnosed with a blood condition called pelvic thrombophlebitis and is undergoing treatment at Baptist Hospital under the supervision of Predators head team physician Dr. Michael Pagnani, M.D. and team internist Dr. Richard Garman, M.D. While a full recovery is expected, Vokoun will miss the remainder of the 2005-06 regular season and post-season.
