Ovechkin, Malkin Lead Russians

Sidney Crosby won’t be there, but his rival for NHL Rookie of the Year honours will get to strut his stuff at the upcoming Winter Olympics in Turin.
Russian team general manager Pavel Bure has named Alexander Ovechkin and 19 year old Evgeni Malkin to the Olympic squad, which features a blend of youth and experience.
“We have chosen only the best of the best,” said Bure in announcing his 23 man squad on Friday,which includes 11 first timers.
