Colorado Fans Still Angry Over Treatment Of Steve Moore

Brad May’s debut in a Colorado Avalanche uniform was awfully brief Friday night, not that the fans attending the team’s intrasquad scrimmage minded much, as they had booed him every time he touched the puck before leaving during the second period with a groin injury.

Weight: Tkachuk’s been punished enough

“He’s been punished enough,” Doug Weight told the newspaper. “I’m not always in agreement with the authorities’ choices, but it is what it is. The fact is that (Tkachuk) let himself go a lot until February or March and he’s got a body that you can’t do that. He gets big fast. But he worked his butt off this year.

Holland: Datsyuk returning to Red Wings

Pavel Datsyuk will return to the Detroit Red Wings for the upcoming season, general manager Ken Holland said Monday.
The Russian centre will sign with the team and be in Detroit by the weekend, ”unless I get a major curve thrown at me,” Holland said.
