Nelson’s Advice Holds True, Rams Down Continentals 6-1

Willow Grove — The not-so-worldly Continentals fell victim to the Rams last night here at Wintersport Arena in beautiful Willow Grove, Pa.
For the Rams, the victory secures their first two-game win streak of the 2004-2005 campaign. And, oddly enough, the goal spurt comes on the heals of advice from Pete Nelson, Bandits Defense.
“Aldo,” said Nelson. “You guys need to bury more pucks.” So like pirates looking to hide treasure, the Rams dug deep in the second and third period tallying all 6 of their goals.
“The Rams came slow and so did I,” said the scorekeeper who had more than a little problems posting the Rams tallys, and who at one time had the game at 4-3. “But I really think the Continentals just didn’t change lines enough.”
Continentals Swedish coach Weel Playallgamesson launched a new strategy. While all coaches encourage their players to go all out every minute of the game, Playallgamesson was quite literal about it. “Oh yeah, umm, ahhh, ve had some chance early and zat line vas vorking for us, so I let zem play all game,” he said.
Rams look to turn the Zebras into dog food or glue Wednesday at 9:30 pm.
